Karthik Subbaraj completes 50% of Vikram and Dhruv's film

In 2020, director Karthik Subbaraj moved on to his next film before Jagame Thandhiram could release in theatres. Due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, Jagame Thandhiram was lying on the shelves for nearly a year. Later, producer Sashikanth sold the streaming rights to Netflix. Now that Jagame Thandhiram is all set to release on June 18 on Netflix, director Karthik Subbaraj has been busy promoting the film. During one of the interactions with the media, Karthik Subbaraj opened up about his upcoming fim featuring Chiyaan Vikram and his son Dhruv Vikram. We had earlier reported that this film is a gangster story set in Chennai.

 
The latest update from the director is that he has completed half of the film and is planning to resume the shooting once the Tamil Nadu government allows the Tamil film industry to conduct film shoots. Director Karthik Subbaraj has planned to completed the film this year. Simran and Vani Bhojan have been roped in to play pivotal roles in the film. Produced by Lalit Kumar's Seven Screen Studio, the film has music composed by Santhosh Narayanan.
