Karthi's Sardar Post Production Moves With Great Momentum
Karthi was last seen in Viruman, a rural drama which became a success at the box office. His character in Ponniyin Selvan will be a spy and fans are anticipating a pathbreaking performance from the Aayirathil Oruvan actor.
While Karthi's fans eagerly anticipate his September 30 appearance as Vanthiyathevan in filmmaker Mani Ratna's "Ponniyin Selvan," the star actor's forthcoming movie "Sardar" is almost finished. The PS Mithran-directed movie starring Karthi also stars Rajisha Vijayan, Raashi Khanna, and other actors. The news is that the film's DI is proceeding apace as the spy thriller movie is scheduled to be released on Deepavali 2022.
According to reports, Karthi will play two roles in the film, one as a young man and the other as an elderly person, explaining his two appearances. George C. Williams, a cinematographer, tweeted, "#sardar DI in full swing #SardarDeepavali."
With this movie, actress Laila, who was last seen in the 2006 Tamil film "Thirupathi" with Ajith, is making a comeback to Tamil cinema. The first track and teaser for the movie will be released soon, according to the producers.
Raashi Khanna, Rajisha Vijayan, and Simran play significant roles in the movie, which is produced by Lakshman of Prince Pictures. Munishkant, Chunky Pandey, Prince, and Murli Sharma are also featured in the cast. George C. Williams is the film's cinematographer, and Ruben is in charge of the editing. GV Prakash is composing the music for Sardar.
