Keerthy Suresh To Play The Lead In Filmmaker Chandru’s Next, Revolver Rita

Revolver Rita is the title of the second film that filmmaker Chandru, who also co-wrote Maanaadu, Tamizh Padam 1 and 2, would be directing and Keerthy Suresh will play the protagonist in the movie. Redin Kingsley will play a comedy role in the film.

Chandru's latest movie was the fantasy comedy Naveena Saraswathi Sabadham. He shared the details of Revolver Rita in an interview. He says “Usually, when you mention the term female-centric film, people think that it will be a serious one. But this one will be an action comedy entertainer. It’s a city-based subject, and we plan to start the shoot by March-April.” Keerthy Suresh will portray a typical middle-class girl in the film. Her personality evolves as the story progresses. Among the supporting figures hired for the project are Mime Gopi and Sendrayan. Seasoned stuntman Super Subbarayan is also part of the film. “The makers are in talks with popular stars to play the characters of the antagonist, the heroine’s mother and sister", says a source. The technical team includes cinematographer Dinesh Krishnan and National Award-winning editor Praveen KL. There is also the stunt choreographer Dhilip Subbarayan. A top composer is likely to score the music for the film. Apart from this information not much is known about the film as of yet. Keerthy Suresh is working on Dasara, a film with Nani in the lead role. She is also going to star in Hombale films' debut Tamil film. Hombale Films' are famous for producing mass hits like KGF, KGF 2 and Kantara.
