Kollywood star Dhanush teams up with filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj for a unique film Jagame Tanthram

Kollywood star Dhanush whose recent outing 'Pattas' did decently well at the box-office joined hands with director Karthik Subbaraj and is all set to come up with a gangster drama tentatively titled as #D40. The project is already carrying a lot of expectations. Karthik Subbaraj already did a film with Superstar Rajinikanth and then he is now coming up with a film, with Dhanush playing the lead. Superstar fans and Dhanush fans are very excited about this combo.

Aishwarya Lekshmi is playing the lady love interest of Dhanush in the film. Joju George, James Cosmo, Kalaiyarasan and Sanchana Natarajan are playing pivotal roles in the movie. Today, the makers have unveiled the first look motion poster of the film and also announced 'Jagame Tanthram' as the title of the film. The motion poster featured Dhanush posing with guns in his hands and the visuals hinted that the movie is going to be a mass commercial entertainer ride. S Sashikanth under Y NOT Studios is bankrolling this film. The movie is Santhosh Narayanan's musical and is gearing up for May 1st release this year. The promotions of the movie kick-start very soon.
