Kollywood's Exhibition Rules Kills Massive Release of Bigil

Star heroes of the Tamil film industry are gearing up with their movies for a grand release during Diwali. The Tamil movie industry developed new exhibition terms because of which some distributors are unable to screen Bigil and it results in the movie getting a limited release.

Tamil producer Dhanunjayan took to Twitter expressing concern over the limited release of Bigil. "Feeling bad that important theatres like @GKcinemas are not able to screen #Bigil due to exhibition terms not working out. Distributors of #Bigil must ensure widespread release to get the maximum revenue than targeting just high ticket price centers to get back their investment. The audience need the most expected #Bigil in every theatre possible at "reasonable ticket price" so that they enjoy this Diwali with #Thalapathy film. Not fair Distributors who bought the film missing out important theatres who're not agreeing to their high ticket price demands."
Directed by Atlee Kumar, the Bigil stars Vijay in a dual role. Nayanathara is the leading lady of the movie. The film is releasing in Telugu with the title Whistle.
