Korean family drama Romang wins hearts at IFFI 2019 Event

Romang is a Korean family drama is about the lives of an old taxi driver and his wife. Both the old man and his wife diagnosed with a degenerative disease look a bit overdramatic. The second half is a bit more interesting. However the Pre-climax and the Climax scenes keep on dragged and dragged. The performances by the old couple are splendid and they are just very much natural and delivered subtle expressions. The scene in which Mae JA(wife) comes to know about her husband's disease is heart-wrenching. The cinematography is superb and the technical departments have done a decent job. The dialogues are fantastic. This Korean family drama is worth watching. This film has a share of both happy moments and weepy ones.

Still Human is a story about a paralyzed divorcee and the Filipino maid/nurse. Both 'Anthony Wong' and 'Crisel' arrest you with winning performances. It's comical and emotional too. There is no strong conflict point as such in the latter half, but the scenes surely wet our eyes. The screenplay is formulaic. The scenes where both come to know each other came out well. The message is strongly told "dream High and work hard to achieve it". Other than some good performances the film has good camera work and music. The humor worked in parts. If you are okay with the predictability factor, Still Human is worth watching.
