We all know the issues between director Krish and actress Kangana in Manikarnika. And the issue is in the limelight again as the movie Manikarnika is out in the theatres from Jan 25th. Krish says to the media that Kangana wanted Sonu Sood’s character to be reduced and Krish objected that to kill Sadashiv Rao’s character played by Sonu Sood at interval point would be distorting the history.
Another reason to quit Manikarnika is that he had taken up NTR Biopic at the same time and he is not able to continue Manikarnika project. He also added that Kangana eventually wanted to direct herself thus he had to left. She changed 25 percent in the first half, even re-shoted some scenes which I had done in a different way in the second half and the Intro scene of Kangana which received a great applause was shot by herself, he claimed to media.
Reports say that these are the reasons why Kangana has tried to remove Krish’s name as the director from ‘Manikarnika’ initially and later has given him credit as one of the directors. Whatever, the film received decent reviews and the collections are good too.
