Kriti Sanon opens up about her career in Bollywood, says she's at the most exciting phase of her life

Kriti Sanon, who made her debut with Heropanti, completed five years in Bollywood. With few ups and downs, Kriti has now made her niche in the industry with her talent. With her last successful film, Housefull 4, she gets excited to take up future projects. In an interview with HT, Kriti opened up about her career graph in Bollywood. "Honestly, I don’t want to lose that momentum and wish to keep it going. I’m enjoying whatever is happening (in my career) and with films such as Mimi, Bachchan Pandey, and Dinoo’s next (filmmaker Dinesh Vijan yet-untitled comedy starring Rajkummar Rao, Paresh Rawal, and Dimple Kapadia), I intend to do films that would excite me. In fact, every year, I want to try and do at least one such character, which is not in my comfort zone,” she says.

About doing a film like Panipat which is out of her comfort zone, Kriti says, "Essaying my first historical character and being part of a period drama, was again stepping out of my comfort zone. In the beginning, I wasn’t sure about playing a Maharashtrian. But now, when I look back, I feel there are certain films that you feel really proud to be a part of and I get that feeling with Panipat. The kind of reviews that came for the film weren’t surprising because Ashu sir (filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker) showed things in an amazing manner."

In 2017, Kriti Sanon was highly appreciated for her film Bareilly Ki Barfi. The film that starred Ayushmann Khurrana, fetched her a lot of attention in the industry. After that, the actress signed a lot of big projects which had no looking back for her.
