Kurkure appoints Akshay Kumar as its brand ambassador

Kurkure appoints Akshay Kumar as its brand ambassador

PepsiCo India unveiled Akshay Kumar as the brand ambassador of Kurkure. The company decided to use Instagram and posted a fun video to reveal Kumar’s association with the brand. Dilen Gandhi who is the Senior Director and Category Head of Foods at PepsiCo India made a statement. He said. “We believe that Akshay Kumar personifies the brand tenets of Kurkure as both of them complement each other. By combining Kurkure’s chatpatapan with Akshay’s multi-faceted personality, we are confident to create a blockbuster association that will not only create non-stop humor but also deepens our engagement with the consumers.”
 
“The company will be leveraging on this association through a campaign which will feature the actor in “fun and off-beat avatars," he added.
 
In a statement, Akshay Kumar said, “The brand’s quirky and unconventional campaigns have stood the test of time and are remembered by one and all. I love entertaining the audience and am looking forward to adding zing and liveliness in a memorable and unique way with Kurkure."
 
In the past, PepsiCo India roped in Bollywood actors such as Juhi Chawla, Taapsee Pannu, Parineeti Chopra and Kareena Kapoor Khan for Kurkure's ad campaigns. On the professional front, Akshay Kumar unveiled his looks, or looks, from his upcoming film Baap Re Baap. The actor plays three different avatars in the film. Sooryavanshi, directed by Rohith Shetty is also set to hit theatres in March 2020. Akshay also has Laxmmi Bomb, Prithviraj, and Bachchan Panday in his lineup. Prithviraj marks Manushi Chillar’s Bollywood debut. Reportedly, the actor also got cast in Dhoom 4. He also stars in Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan's new film Atrangi Re.
