Vishal is now appearing in 'Laathi,' a Pan-India film directed by A Vinoth Kumar and produced by Rana Productions. Sunaina plays the female lead in the film, which Ramana and Nandha are co-producing. The teaser for the film was released on Sunday.
The teaser begins on an unusual note, with Vishal, who is chained and heavily beaten up by criminals, issuing a strong warning. “Rey… Thappu Chesina Thaladachukune Pokirivi… Neeke Intha Pogarunnappudu… Aa Thappuni Niliadeese Polisodni… Naku Entha Pogaruntundi…"
Vishal is seen saluting his superiors in the next scene. Then there's the massive action scene in an under-construction building when Vishal, as a lone warrior, declares war on a gang of thugs. The teaser undoubtedly raises interest in the film.
Vishal plays an intense role as an honest officer willing to die in the line of duty. He is just outstanding in the position. Vinoth Kumar portrayed the role in a way that appealed to a broad audience. Peter Hein masterfully choreographed some incredible action sequences for 'Laathi.' In fact, the second half of the film will have 45 minutes of action.
Sam CS composed the soundtrack, Balasubramanian shot the footage, and Pon Parthiban wrote the script. On September 15th, 'Laathi' will be released simultaneously in all languages.
