Lavanya Tripathi who has been struggling with back to back disasters has signed a sports film, 'A1 Express' in which Sundeep Kishan is playing the lead role. Touted to be the first-ever hockey based movie in Tollywood, Dennis Jeevan Kanukolanu is helming this project.
It seems like Lavanya Tripathi is super excited about her first Sports genre film. While Talking in an interview, Lavanya Tripathi said that she has rejected around 20 scripts because it had nothing. "Sometimes, I used to wonder why I had signed the film because I had nothing on the sets. So, I wanted to wait for a strong script and took some time. Finally, after listening to the story of 'A1', I was relieved and thought that I will have something to perform because it is a challenging character. I am learning hockey and its rules for my role now" said Lavanya. The combo Sundeep Kishan and Lavanya Tripathi are going to repeat after 'Maayavan'. Priyadarshi, Rahul Ramakrishna, Murli Sharma, and Srinivas Avasarala are also playing crucial roles in the film.
Sundeep Kishan in association with People Media Factory and Abhishek Agarwal Arts banners is bankrolling this project which is a HipHop Tamiza's musical and will hit the big screens during summer 2020.
