Dhanush was recently seen in director Vetri Maaran's Asuran, which won rave reviews among the critics and audience. The actor is busy shooting for his upcoming film with director Karthik Subbaraj, which is fondly called D40. The first schedule went on for about 40 days in London.
Currently, the second schedule is progressing in Madurai with Dhanush sporting a brand new look in the film. A new photo of Dhanush sporting a handlebar moustache is going viral on social media. The new avatar of Dhanush has gotten the fans quite excited and curious about what's in store for the film.
Rumours suggest that he will appear in this look in the flashback portions. In an earlier interview, director Karthik Subbaraj said that D40 is a gangster flick. He had earlier approached Al Pacino to play the negative role in the film. However, they couldn't get him on board.
Now, the makers zeroed in on Game of Thrones star James Cosmo as the antagonist. The film, produced by Y NOT Sashikanth will release for summer 2020, according to reports.
