Legend Saravanan is one man who needs no introduction. He is one of the richest business tycoons in Chennai and made his film debut with The Legend. He spent crores of money for this film and roped in big names for the same. Even though he got trolled badly for the film, he went ahead and created a stir with the promotions.
Generally, post the theatrical release of the film, the makers sell their film to OTT platforms and make big money. But the fact of the matter is that Legend Saravanan is not at all interested in selling the film to any platform and says his film needs no OTT platform. This is an interesting move from the actor and one does not know the logic behind it.
The theatrical rights of ‘The Legend’ were acquired by noted personalities in different industries. Tirupathi Prasad of Sri Lakshmi Movies released the movie in Telugu states. Like in Tamil and other languages, ‘The Legend’ got a huge number of theatres in Telugu states with Tirupathi Prasad being part of it.
The movie showed how a loving common man, with all his effort, efficiency and strength, overcomes all hurdles and becomes a ‘legend’. Saravanan was seen as a foreign-educated guy who completed his doctorate in microbiology. The story deals with a filthy-rich medical mafia. The movie will be enjoyed by audiences of all age groups.
