Leila trailer talk: Intense, bold and dark story from Kaala heroine
Netflix, after entering India has started producing content that will speak about and about our country. Their upcoming web-series titled Leila is an example of how a bold and intense script could be a potential series.
The makers unveiled the teaser of the series and it’s nothing short of magnificent. The film talks about a particular group of people named Ayravata who never leaves a child born out of parents belonging to different caste.
Huma Qureshi plays the mother who got married to a different cast man. She is set out on a journey to find out her kid and suffers an ordeal that would put her through physical and mental assault.
The teaser is bold, intense, dark and gritty. It is based on a popular novel named Leila, written by Prayaag Akbar. The film also has Siddharth in a meaty role.
