Lokesh Kanagaraj's Master Movie goes to Bollywood

Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi joined hands for the first time in director Lokesh Kanagaraj's Master. Produced by Xavier Britto, the film hit the theatres on January 13, one day ahead of Pongal. In three days with 50 per cent occupancy in theatres, Master has managed to gross Rs 100 crore worldwide and is still going strong at the box office. Now, the latest development is that Master Movie will be remade in Hindi. Shine India, Murad Khetani [Cine1 Studios], and 7 Screen Studio will join hands to produce the Hindi remake of Master.

 
Popular trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the news and wrote, "IT'S OFFICIAL... #MASTER #HINDI REMAKE... #Master - starring #Vijay and #VijaySethupathi - will now be remade in #Hindi... Endemol Shine India, Murad Khetani [Cine1 Studios], and 7 Screen Studio will produce the #Hindi adaptation... Casting for #Hindi remake will commence soon." According to the latest reports, John Abraham and Vijay Sethupathi are in talks to play Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi's role in the Hindi remake. The final round of talks is underway. Soon, an official announcement will follow. Master also stars Andrea Jeremiah, Malavika Mohanan, Arjun Das, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, and others in important roles.
