A couple of days ago, Nagababu, an integral member of the Telugu Cinema fraternity opened up about the ongoing high drama surrounding the MAA elections. He said the current working body of MAA failed miserably and added that the association lost its credibility over the last few years.
Nagababu’s comments did not go well with the current president of MAA, Naresh and he came up with an interesting response.
“Nagababu’s comments and criticism pained me. We carried out numerous welfare activities while in power. We monitored the financial condition of 900 plus MAA members and saw to it that they did not struggle due to the Covid pandemic and the consequent financial recession,” Naresh said.
Naresh Stated he did everything in his power to ensure the overall progress of MAA. He pledged his full support to Manchu Vishnu who is contesting in the coming MAA elections.
Speaking about the ‘non-local tag that is being associated with Prakash Raj, Naresh said any actor who has worked in Telugu Cinema can contest in MAA elections and there are no two ways about it.
Megastar Chiranjeevi is supporting Prakash Raj’s panel and that naturally makes him the favorite to win the elections. Another senior film personality, Jeevitha is also contesting in the elections.
