Madhuri Dixit and Anil Kapoor celebrate 31 years of Tezaab movie

Tezaab hit the screens on November 11 of 1988. On this occasion, Madhuri Dixit and Anil Kapoor took to Twitter to remember the film.

Madhuri Dixit and Anil Kapoor celebrate 31 years of Tezaab movie

The 1988 release gave Anil and Madhuri a major breakthrough in Bollywood. And today, the N Chandra directorial completes 31 years.

Anil Kapoor tweeted, “#31yearsofTezaab, the film that gave @MadhuriDixit & I so much. I want to dedicate this year to the great Laxmikant of LaxmikantPyarelal & to the lion-hearted Late Dinesh Gandhi who backed N. Chandra’s vision which leads to it becoming a super hit blockbuster (sic)."

Madhuri’s take on the celebration was different. She uploaded a video of herself on Twitter in which she is dancing to the song Ek Do Teen from the movie. She even organized a TikTok challenge for her fans, asking them to share their dance videos.

The actress tweeted, “Ek Do Teen... has been a really special song for me. So today, I'm celebrating #31YearsOfTezaab with a fun dance challenge on @TikTok_IN. Match my steps & share your videos using #EkDoTeenChallenge. A few of you will also get a surprise from me. Let's dance away! (sic)".

Apart from Tezaab, Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit shared screen space in close to 18 films. They were last paired together in Indra Kumar's directorial, Total Dhamaal, which released this year.
