Maharshi in censor report
Prince Mahesh Babu is confident that his landmark 25th film Maharshi would turn out to be a great hit at the box office. The film which has Pooja Hegde, Allari Naresh, and Jagapathi Babu is all set to release on May 9.
The film was submitted to the censor board, Maharshi completed censor formalities without a single cut and attainted U/A Certificate. Films run time is 2 hours and 55 minutes. Which is a bit longer compared to regular commercial films. But if we see recent blockbusters like Rangasthalam it is clear that run doesn’t matter if the movie is gripping with good content. Those who have watched the film during the censor process seemed to have been impressed by Vamsi’s story and appreciated the team.
It is said that Mahesh Babu’s characterization as Rishi in three phases of life has been captured beautifully. Out of the three, his role as a college student will be entertaining. He also appears as a farmer which might be inspiring and this episode is said to be the major highlight of the film.
Overall, the censor talk is positive for Maharshi. It is said that Vamsi has crafted an emotional story that talks about life and the struggles faced by the farmers.
