Mahesh Babu is currently shooting for his 25th film Maharshi which is directed by Vamsi Paidipally. The film, which stars Pooja Hegde and Allari Naresh is jointly produced by Dil Raju, Ashwini Dutt and PVP.
The social drama is all set for a grand release on May 9. With just five weeks away from release, the producers are planning to sell the overseas rights as soon as possible.
Initially, the producers quoted an amount of Rs 18 crore for the film. Since it was quite a high price for w film which is low on buzz, there were no takers for the movie. Now, the makers are planning to sell the film for Rs 12 crore.
It is said the overseas distributors were not in for that amount as well. This has left Dil Raju and Ashwini in a fix. They are trying as hard as possible to sell the film in overseas, if not they might release it on their own.
