Maharshi US rights to be sold on sharing basis?

Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film Maharshi has been postponed several times in the past. Now, producers Dil Raju, Ashwini Dutt and PVP Cinemas have announced that the film will release worldwide on May 9.

Earlier, we had reported that the overseas rights of the film are yet to be sold as the makers are charging a hefty price for the movie. Even though they have brought down the price, the distributors are unwilling to buy the film.

Now, the latest update is that the makers have decided to sell the film in the overseas market on sharing basis. The actor’s Bharat Ane Nenu collected a whopping 3.5 million dollars in the US.

But, the distributors couldn’t yield much as the film was sold for a huge price. Also, there is no buzz surrounding Maharshi and the first song too, failed to impress the audience.
