Super Star Mahesh Babu is currently busy with his 25th film titled Maharshi, for which he has joined hands with director Vamsi Paidipally, the movie is slated for release on April 29th. And even before he could finish Maharshi, he has finalized his next film, which will be under the direction of Sukumar.
We told you earlier that Mahesh Babu will be teaming up with director Sukumar. According to the latest buzz, the film is set to be made on a lavish budget of Rs 150 crore by Mythri Movie Makers.
Recently Mahesh Babu is said to be having lengthy meetings with Sukumar every other week.
However, Mahesh has already given his nod to Sukumar’s film and sources say that the plot of the film will deal about red sandalwood smuggling in Andhra Pradesh. In their previous meetings, Mahesh asked Sukumar to make improvisations in the script. As we know Mahesh-Sukumar ‘1 Nenokkadine’ was not successful at the box-office, Mahesh is extra careful this time with Sukumar and is constantly meeting him and is very particular about the ongoing changes in the script. He is not willing to start the movie this time without a bounded script from Sukumar.
Mythri Movie Makers are waiting to launch the film if Sukumar-Mahesh will wrap up their discussions and other formalities. The makers are planning on roping in the best technicians, which might increase the film's overall budget. At present, Sukumar is busy with the pre-production work. Soon, the cast and crew of the untitled film will make an announcement. If everything finalizes, we can see this film on Screen for Dussehra 2019 or Sankranti 2020 as the action drama has an expectation to go to shoot in June, sources added.
