After scoring a blockbuster with Maharshi earlier this year, Superstar Mahesh Babu is now shooting for his 26th film Sarileru Neekevvaru under the direction of Anil Ravipudi. The film is all set to hit the screens on the 12th of January 2020. Even after wrapping that film, Mahesh will not take a long break and will start shooting for his 27th film.
According to the grapevine, this #SSMB27 will go on floors in February 2020. Director Vamshi Paidipally, who made Maharshi, will team up with Mahesh once again, for this movie. Apparently, Vamshi came up with a gangster drama for Mahesh this time. The story of this film is apparently based on a gangster's life.
Ace producer Dil Raju will bankroll it under his banner Sri Venkateshwara Creations. The makers are planning to rope in a top actress as the heroine of this movie. Just like Sarileru Neekevvaru, even this film's shoot will get wrapped up in just six months.
The team is planning to release the film during the Dussera season of 2020. If that happens, there will be no stopping for Mahesh's fans as two of their favorite hero's films get released in two big festive seasons of the Telugu cinema. Stay tuned for more updates on this film.
