Telugu cinema overseas market is going through a bad phase. Even big star-studded movies are struggling to reach the break-even mark here. If see the recent track record of Telugu movies in the USA, movies with good talk and reviews are also underperforming in overseas.

Big-ticket films like ‘Saaho’ and ‘Maharshi’ left the USA distributors in huge losses. Given this scenario, surprising to know that Mahesh Babu’s ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ was bagged for Rs 13 crores.

But, Mahesh Babu has always maintained a solid track record in the US and holds a strong foothold there. Even though Maharshi did not rake in the moolah in the country, his films have always done well there.

Anil Ravipudi’s earlier film F2 was a rollicking hit in the US. Now when Mahesh Babu and Anil have joined hands, fans expect nothing but a great family entertainer and lots of fun.
