After the likes of Judwaa 2 and Pati Patni Aur Woh, another remake of an old Hindi film is coming up which is Coolie No.1. Directed by David Dhawan, this film is a remake of 1995 film of the same name.
Varun Dhawan and
Sara Ali Khan played the lead roles in this new adaptation. The film's shoot got wrapped up recently and on this occasion, the makers arranged a wrap-up party in Mumbai. A few prominent Bollywood celebrities have graced this event.
Apart from the film's cast and crew, this party witnessed celebrities like
Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh,
Genelia Deshmukh, Alaya F., Karishma Kapoor, Milaap Milan Zaveri, Javed Jaffrey, and Dinesh Vijan. The party got hosted by producers Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, and the Dhawan.
The makers of Coolie No:1 recently shot a lengthy schedule in Goa. With the completion of that schedule, the entire film got wrapped up. The film also features Paresh Rawal, Javed Jaffrey, Rajpal Yadav and Johnny Lever in the other important roles. The makers will kickstart the promotions soon. Coolie No:1 will hit the screens on May 1st.
Both Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan scored disaster flops with their respective last films Street Dancer and Love Aaj Kal. Thus, the success of Coolie No:1 is very important for both of them.
