Mamangam movie teaser: Mammootty gets his own Baahubali like film

Malayalam cinema is known to make low and medium budget films and make huge profits with it. After the success of Baahubali, many filmmakers have developed the confidence that they can mount a film on a huge scale and recover the costs too.

Now, Mammootty has jumped on the bandwagon and has starred in a epic Malayalam film Mamangam, tipped as an expensive Malayalam film. The makers released the teaser in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi and Telugu. From the teaser, the film is set in 1695 and is centered around Mamangam festival. The trailer also showcases the martial art skills of the people in Kerala. The teaser reveals that the film is about the finale of a 280 year old battle and how a 12 year old changes the history. Towards the end of epic teaser, we get to see Mammootty taking on a soldier. Directed by Padmakumar the historical film is all set to release worldwide later this year.
