Mollywood thriller film '22 Female Kottayam' starring Rima Kallingal and Fahadh Faasil became a blockbuster in 2012. Now, another such edgy thriller is all to get released very soon.
Just like that film, a Bengaluru-based Malayali nurse will play the protagonist role in this movie as well. 'Paisa Paisa' fame director Prasanth Murali is helming this project titled as 'Lalbagh'. Mamta Mohandas playing the lead character named Sara in the film. The director claims that the movie is going to be a family drama with so many thrilling elements and the story will get narrated in a non-linear pattern. "The movie starts with a birthday party, post which a murder takes place and leads to police interrogation," said the director. "Sara is a Malayali nurse who lives with her husband and child. She doesn't have an urban lifestyle. She has a rose garden in her balcony, and her mind is also like a rose flower. The film is about how she copes up with a particular crisis in her life" added the director.
Sijoy Varghese, Nandini Rai, Neha Saxena, Rahul Dev Shetty are also playing crucial roles in the film. The movie unit has already wrapped up the shoot and is busy with post-production works.
