Mammootty is one of the leading stars in Malayalam and he is one of the actors who doesn't think twice to experiment with films even after several decades in the industry. Now, the actor is awaiting the release of his upcoming film Mamangam, which will release worldwide on December 12.
As the release date is nearing, the actor is busy promoting the film in different languages. Recently, the legendary actor was in Mumbai for the Hindi trailer launch of Mamangam, directed by M Padmakumar.
When addressing the media, a journalist asked him about the Hyderabad doctor rape and murder incident. He addressed the gathering and said, "Society should be conscious about it. The film, which is made a mammoth budget of nearly Rs 45 crore, has Mammootty essaying the role of a warrior. The story is set against a religious festival held once every 12 years at Thirunavaya, on the banks of Bharatapuzha in Kerala.
