Malayalam star hero Mammootty scored a blockbuster earlier this year with the film Madhura Raja. Directed by Vysakh of Pulimurugan (Manyam Puli in Telugu) fame, this film reminded us of one of the biggest hits in the Malayalam film industry. Now, it is being dubbed into Telugu as Raja Narasimha and it will hit the screens on January 1st, 2020.
Sadhu Shekhar has acquired the Telugu rights of this film and is releasing it under Jai Chenna Keshava Pictures. The film deals with the story of Raja, a village head, who protects his village and its people from the atrocities of an illegal liquor merchant.
Tamil actor Jai, Mahima Nambiar, and Jagapathi Babu played the other important roles in the film. Speaking about the film, Sadhu Shekhar said that the film is a perfect action entertainer which carries a good message. He opined that Mammootty's mass action, Jagapathi Babu's villainism, Gopi Sundar's music, Peter Hein's action choreography, and Sunny Leone's item song will be the major highlights of this movie. He hoped that Raja Narasimha will be a big hit in Telugu as well.
Earlier, the actor's dubbed movies did not do well but let us hope this movie might catch the attention of movie lovers.
