Mani Ratnam's next production to be directed by his former associate who helmed the critically acclaimed 'Padai Veeran' which started Bharatiraja and Vijay Yesudas. Venkat Prabhu signed for the lead role. Mani Ratnam is penning dialogues for this Madras Talkies project.
Well, known Aishwarya Rajesh will be playing a pivotal role in this project. She will be playing Venkat Prabhu's sister in the as yet untitled film and Madona Sebastian will be playing his pair. Govind Vasantha music director of 96 is also roped in this project for the original score the music. Earlier talks were on the Gv Prakash due to his busy schedule juggling acting and composing music duties has forced him to opt out.
