Malayalam actress Manju Warrier made her debut in Tamil with director Vetri Maaran. In the film, she starred opposite Dhanush and proved herself as a powerhouse performer to the Tamil audience. She was recently seen in Malayalam film Prathi Poovankozhi, directed by Rosshan Andrrews.
In a recent interview, Manju said that she will take her own time in singing a film as the content is most important for her. She said, "For me, it’s the content which is important. Who is the main character in the movie is based on how the story develops. Content is most important, and everything else follows. Male-centric or female-centric is not the criteria for me to choose films."
She also opened up about her upcoming projects. She said, "There are many offers coming from outside the Malayalam industry. I am not rushing into anything right now. I could wait for scripts which I think is good. The same applies to web series also. If something good comes up, I will definitely do it.”
