The superstar Manju Warrier will collaborate with the duo for the upcoming film Marakkar: Arabikkadalinte Simham. The movie begins gearing up for its release next month. Manju Warrier spoke in an interview with a leading daily about how she missed an opportunity of working with the duo before.
She opened up about how she always wanted to work with the Mohanlal-Priyadarshan duo. This was because she grew up watching their movies. She further revealed that she received an offer to work with the duo for the 1997 Mohanlal-starrer Chandralekha, but wasn’t able to sign the project for some reason.
The 1997 movie Chandralekha is one of Priyadarshan’s biggest blockbusters. Mohanlal, Sukanya, and Pooja Batra played the lead roles in the film.
Stating how she is still “sad” about that, Manju said that I am excited for the upcoming movie Marakkar: Arabikkadalinte Simham. The actress is portraying the role of Subaida in the film and her character poster was also unveiled recently. Manju added that she plays a pivotal character in the movie. But she could not reveal anything more about it. Referring to the movie as ‘historic’ and ‘epic’, Manju added that her excitement is at par with the audience.
