Vijay Devarakonda has ventured into production with his own banner King of the Hill productions. A few weeks ago, he announced that his first Film Meeku Maathrame Chepta will feature director Tharun Bhaskar in the lead.
The team released the film’s teaser and two songs as well which received a decent response from the audience. Directed by newcomer Shammeer Sultan, the film also stars Vani Bhojan, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Abhinav Gomatam, Pavani Gangireddy, and others.
Now, the makers have finalized Meeku Maathrame Chepta movie release date as November 1. The film is currently in the post-production phase and it is expected to be wrap up in a few weeks.
Speaking about the film, Vijay’s father Vardhan said, “The response to the teaser and two songs we released so far has been good! The team has been busy visiting colleges. It is at these visits that we understood how much the audiences have connected to the concept. Every person works hard to carry a positive image about themselves. And in the effort to do so and to save face a person does a lot of things. And as a result is a series of comical events that make our story.”
