Mega hero Vaishnav Tej's debut Uppena aimed for a grand release in August; Official announcement to come out soon

Mega Nephew Panja Vaishnav Tej is all set to mark his acting debut with 'Uppena' movie. Billed to be a period love story, Buchi Babu Sana is helming this project. Featuring Krithi Shetty as the leading lady, the makers have already impressed the audience with the teaser and singles. Though the makers have locked April 2nd as the official release date of the film, the lockdown due go the Coronavirus pandemic has made the makers to postpone the release. Now the fourth phase of lockdown is going on in the country and most of the things are getting back to normal except for areas in red zone and containment zones. So, the makers are considering August 15th as the release date of the film.

However, the official announcement regarding the same is yet to come out. If the situation remains still the same in August, they might further postpone the release to September. Kollywood Actor Vijay Sethupathi is playing a crucial role in this movie. Sukumar Writings in association with Mythri Movie Makers is bankrolling this project which is Devi Sri Prasad 's musical. The buzz is that Vijay Setupathi grabbed the remake rights of the movie in Tamil. An announcement on the same will come out soon.
