Megastar Chiranjeevi Wishes Team ‘Liger’ The Best At The Theatres

Liger, directed by Puri Jagannadh and starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday, is slated to hit theatres on August 25.

Chiranjeevi turned to social media on Wednesday, ahead of the film's release on Thursday, to express his best wishes to the cast and crew. He asked them to aim for the 'knockout punch,' writing,

He also tweeted a photo of himself smiling as he poses with Vijay, Puri, and Charmme Kaur. The photograph was taken on the set of his next film Godfather, a remake of Lucifer. Fans were ecstatic to watch Megastar wish Vijay success for the flick. Vijay portrays a chai-wala who transforms into an MMA fighter and goes on to represent India internationally in Liger. Mike Tyson also plays a prominent part, and their fight is likely to be one of the film's highlights. Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, and others have significant parts in the film, which will be released in Hindi as well as Telugu. Liger represents Vijay's Bollywood debut and Ananya's first in the south.
