The film also stars Priyanka Mohan, Shiva Rajkumar, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, Vinayakan, and others. Rajinikanth will play jailer Muthuvel Pandian. The glimpse begins with an image of Rajinikanth seated on a chair inside a room with only his legs visible to us through the door. The 100-second film gradually cuts to a silhouette of Rajinikanth. Later, as he pulls out a large sword-like weapon, we get to see his face.
The jailer is described as an action thriller. The film is produced by Sun Pictures. It is the same company that made "Beast" by Nelson Dilipkumar. Anirudh is composing the soundtrack for the film.
In a recent interview, Nelson Dilipkumar reportedly stated that almost 50% of the movie's filming had already finished. Additionally, the producers revealed that Stun Siva choreographed the action scenes. The movie's release date will probably fall during the summer of 2023.
