Sharwanand and Samantha Akkineni joined hands for the first time for a romantic love story 'Jaanu' which is the official remake of Tamil superhit film '96' starring Trisha and Vijay Sethupathy.
C. Prem Kumar who helmed the original version is wielding the megaphone for the Telugu version as well. Today, the makers have released the first single from the movie. 'Pranam' is the first song from the film which featured some beautiful visuals from the film. The soulful voice of Chinmayi and Gowtham Bharadwaj made the song more beautiful. Lyrics by Shree Mani are heart touching and Govind Vasantha's music is too good.
Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations who gained the remake rights before the release of the original version is bankrolling this project. Jaanu teaser is already out on the social media and the makers want to recreate the magic that they did with 96 original version in Tamil. Since both the movies have the same director, we may expect the magic to get recreated.
