Michael Director Ranjit Jeyakodi Posts Special Thank-You Note

Ranjit Jeyakodi made his directorial debut in 2017 with Vijay Sethupathi and Gayathrie's Puriyaatha Puthir. His film titled Ispade Rajavum Idhaya Raniyum featuring Harish Kalyan and Shilpa Nair was his claim to fame. Yarukkum Anjael was his next release and this year, 2023 began with Michael. The gangster film features Sundeep Kishan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Gautham Menon in lead roles. Ranjit Jeyakodi's Michael opened in cinemas on February 3 and received mixed responses from critics and audiences alike. The film was appreciated for being technically sound. However, the story of the film wasn't up to the mark and was unanimously panned because of it. Ranjit Jeyakodi is known for taking criticisms with a smile on his face. He took to social media to pen a gratitude note to fans who liked the film and shared a message to those who did not like the film.

Taking to Twitter, director Ranjit Jeyakodi shared a heartfelt note in Tamil and English. The filmmaker wrote, "Thank you. My love for all your responses. All all my films Michael is also close to my heart film, that I have put 100 per cent in it. There is no movie that satisfies everyone, for every individual there is different likes and dislikes. For the people who liked 'I am glad it worked for you,' for the people whom it does not work.' I will work hard for my next and give a film that satisfies you too.' My respect for every views and opinions - Ranjit Jeyakodi (Sic)."
