The Mohanlal starrer Monster, directed by Vysakh, has hit the theaters. The film is getting a good response after its first screening. The audience was eagerly waiting for Mohanlal and Vaishakh to reunite. The first reactions make it clear that this is not in vain. Many have took to social media to respond after watching the film Monster. Mohanlal fans say that the film Monster will become the highest grossing film in Mohanlal’s career.
The first reason behind that hope is that the film reunites the cast of Pulimurugan. For the first time after Pulimurugan, Monster is a film directed by Vaishakh with Mohanlal in the lead role, scripted by Udayakrishna. Producers, Aashirvad Cinemas, are also looking forward to their latest release. The biggest proof of this is the film's high theatre count, as the film has been released on 216 screens in Kerala alone.
The film has a wide release in other states as well. The film is hitting 141 screens in Bengaluru, Chennai, Trichy, Salem, Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Nagpur, Goa, Ahmedabad, New Delhi, Bhopal, Jaipur, and Bhubaneswar. So that's a total of 357 screens in India. The film, which is facing a GCC release ban due to its LGBTQIA+ content, has a good screen count in Europe. Monster is showing on 104 screens in the UK alone. Distributors inform us that Monster has the biggest screen count for a Malayalam film in Europe.
