Sandalwood producer Muniratna has finally put an end to all speculations about the release of Challenging Star Darshan starrer Kurukshetra.
The film, that has been produced in seven different languages, including Hindi, will hit theatres on August 9. This is a multi starrer and includes actors like Nikhil Kumaraswamy, Crazy Star Ravichandran, Arjun Sarja, Hariprriya, Sonu Sood and Meghana Raj.
Also appearing in the film is Rebel Star the Late Ambareesh in his final performance, where he played the role of Bhisma. He completed the dubbing for the film shortly before his death.
According to sources close to Muniratna, the movie will be released in 2D as well as 3D. "The audio release event will be held on July 7," Muniratna's close associate said.
