'Muniratna Kurukshetra' will release on August 9

Sandalwood is all set for its biggest clash ever this Varamahalakshmi. The release date of Darshan's much-hyped 'Muniratna Kurukshetra' has finally been announced by the team. The film will be released on August 9 and will clash with Sudeepstarrer 'Pailwaan'.

There are some similarities between the two movies, apart from the release date. Both films have been made on a grand scale and will be released in several different languages.

While it would be ideal for both the films to avoid a clash, it looks like it is inevitable as the "Muniratna Kurukshetra" team has already officially announced the release date.
