My next move depends on Election Commission's verdict says Kurukshetra producer Muniratna

Kurukshetra movie is surrounded by several hurdles which are badly effecting the release of this mythological drama. In actual movie to release on April 5th, this movie to face off with other huge projects and the kismet of movie release is completely in the hands of Election Commission.

Makers are in the process of seeking permission from Election Commission for the release of the movie Kurukshetra. Because of involvement of Nikhil Kumar in upcoming elections. Nikhil Kumar who is playing Abhimanyu role in this movie, also contesting in upcoming Loksabha elections from Mandya area. According to the electoral code of conduct, promotion of any candidate in any manner is prohibited. This has been sending negative vibes to the makers which may result in halting the release of the movie.

Kurukshetra is said to be landmark 50th movie of Challenging Star Darshan, in actual this movie was to be released in April 2018 but due to heavy graphics work and clash with Karnataka State Elections, it has to be postponed. Makers also planned mighty audio function on Marc23rd, as per present situation the audio will only happen if the film released on April 5th as planned.

Producer Muniratna says the product was delayed due to boundless graphics work as we had shot the movie in 2D and 3D. Now we are ready with the finished product and all set to release the movie on April 5th. As Nikhil who is playing role in our movie and also contesting in the upcoming elections, if I can go ahead with the release as planned for April 5th I completely miss out on Mysuru area. My next move depends on the Election Commission's verdict.
