Mythri Movie Makers are banking on Vijay Devarakonda
It is common in Tollywood that a particular production house sticks to certain hero for the season whether it is the comfort zone that works out or the sentiment.
Currently, Mythri Movie Makers and Vijay Devarakonda are on the same note planning to make back to back movies in a row. With movies like Savyasachi and Amar Akbar Antony which didn’t fetch well at box office, the production house has rolled up its sleeves in roping the ‘Rowdy’ star into the next project, 'Dear Comrade'. Though Mythri had hits like Rangasthalam and Srimanthudu, it needs a solid hit now for the survival.
The production house has reportedly cut down their budgets post the consequent flops, and working on small budgeted movies now and is ready to produce two more films with Vijay. The duo is teaming up for their next exciting projects new directors. They also had an agreement with Sukumar to direct the Mahesh’s next, but the superstar had some issues and now Mythri wants Sukumar to direct Vijay.
‘Dear Comrade’ helmed by Bharat Kamma finished 90% of the shoot and is getting ready to hit the screens on 22nd May this year. Vijay Devarakonda is going to pair up with his Geetha Govindam’s co-star Rashmika Mandanna which is another good omen for this movie.
