Praveen Sattaru wrote and directed the next Indian Telugu language action thriller 'The Ghost.' Sri Venkateswara Cinemas and North Star Entertainment are co-producing the film. Nagarjuna plays the lead in 'The Ghost,' with Sonal Chauhan and Gul Panag portraying the female parts. Anikha Surendran, Manish Chaudhari, Ravi Varma, and Srikanth Iyengar all play prominent roles in the film. Praveen Sattaru, who co-wrote and directed the 2017 blockbuster espionage film 'PSV Garuda Vega with Rajasekhar, will release 'The Ghost' this year.
Nagarjuna will play Vikram Gandhi, a veteran RAW officer who is claimed to have studied Krav Maga and Katana sword combat for the role. This film would mark the Tollywood debuts of Bollywood actresses Gulpanag, Manish Chaudhari, and Baby Anikha (Anikha Surendran - Malayali actress).
'The Ghost,' now in post-production, contains a background score written by Mark K Robin and music composed by Bharat-Saurabh. The film, edited by Dharmendra Kakarla, is set to be released on October 5th, coinciding with Vijayadashami.
