Nani’s ‘Jersey’ is more than just a sports drama
The films that revolve around certain sensitive relations like father-daughter, mother-son, strikes the chord with the audience though they don’t fetch well at box office. But if the film equally balances the hit elements like emotions, relations and suspense chances are high that it hits the box office. Seems like natural Star Nani’s ‘Jersey’ is one such flick which remains on the wall of heart-touching movies.
Apart from Nani’s performance, Anirudh’s soulful melodies and Sanu John Varughese’s cinematography, "Jersey" will mark its existence among the films which narrates the importance of self-discovery in one’s life. The trailer which was released by Sithara Entertainments has received an overwhelming response from the netizens touching the four million mark within 48 hours.
As per the trailer, the movie sends a message that age is not a factor for success until and unless who strive hard to achieve it at any cost. Nani is shown in the character with two shades, one as a dashing young cricketer with all the success and the other one as a frustrated middle-aged person craving to get back into form. Nani has donned both the shades with ease and the movie will no doubt be a one-man show.
Directed by ‘Malli Raava’ fame Gautham Tinnanuri and starring Shraddha Srinath as Nani’s lady love, this periodic sports drama is hitting cinemas on April 19th.
