The latest buzz on Nani’s upcoming venture with director Rahul Sankrityan is that the film is going to be a Pan India film. Sources say that the budget for Shyam Singha Roy is about Rs 40 crores. There have been rumours of what kind of a role Nani might take on. Rumour has it the Natural Star Nani will appear in 3 different roles. The makers have roped in Sai Pallavi as the female lead. Chatter about the sets of the film is quite interesting. Sources say that the makers of the film are planning to erect a massive Kolkata based set in Hyderabad.

The title announcement for the film arrived on Nani's birthday on 24th February earlier this year. Suryadevara Naga Vamsi is bankrolling the film. Rahul Sankrityan is coming back to direct his third film. The young director who left his IT job to pursue a career in the film industry directed the Vijay Devarakonda starrer Taxiwala in 2018. Nani will be taking on the title role of Shyam Singha Roy. We will have to wait to see how the Natural Star will appear in 3 different roles!
On the work front, Nani is all set to work with director Mohan Krishna Indraganti in his upcoming film titled V. The action thriller also stars Sudheer Babu, Nivetha Thomas and Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead roles. The film was to hit the theatres on the occasion of Ugadi earlier this year, however, the release date stands postponed. V will be Nani’s 25th film! Nani is also taking on a negative role for the first time in this film. He will also appear in the film Tuck Jagadish. Apart from Nani, the film also stars Ritu Varma and Aishwarya Rajesh in prominent roles. Shiva Nirvana is directing the film and Sahu Garapati is producing it. Rumour has it Nani will appear in a film helmed by debutant director Srikanth Odella. An official announcement is yet to arrive.
