Indian 2 is shaping up to be a mega project. The Kamal Haasan-led film faces the trouble of not having the services of Vivek and Nedumudi Venu, both of whom have passed away. Karthik could reportedly fill one of the vacant roles.
Kamal Haasan reunited with director Shankar for 'Indian 2,' but the project was put on hold following an unfortunate accident on the set in February 2020. The makers intend to resume filming on this highly anticipated film. The latest reports indicate that Navarasa Nayagan Karthik will appear in 'Indian 2'.
The makers of Kamal Haasan's film are planning to bring in replacements for late actors Vivek and Nedumudi Venu, whose roles are still unfinished. As a result, Navarasa Nayagan Karthik is said to be in line for a key role and could fill in for either of the above two.
Karthik's participation is expected to be officially announced soon. Meanwhile, Kajal Aggarwal has confirmed that filming on 'Indian 2' will resume on September 13. Kamal Haasan is currently on a one-month trip to the United States to prepare for the film, where he will wear two different looks. The set work for 'Indian 2' is currently underway in a film city in Chennai.
On the other hand, Director Shankar will complete the major work for 'RC 15,' which stars Ramcharan and Kiara Advani in lead roles.
