Simbu, who is all charged up in his new innings is singing interesting films. He is currently busy working for Maanadu, Directed by Venkat Prabhu... The film is a political satire on the current scenario. Director SJ Suryah has roped in to play the antagonist in the film. Recently Simbu has signed Mysskin's upcoming directorial venture. The project is likely to go on floors from the first week of May and it will be made on a huge budget.
 
As per the latest report Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has brought on board to play a pivotal role in the film. Reportedly director Mysskin has met Nawazuddin in Mumbai and narrated him the script. Nawaz who got mighty impressed with the storyline has given his nod immediately to be part of the project. Nawazuddin will play the villain in the film. Earlier he made his debut in Tamil with Superstar Rajinikanth's Petta. Though the film was a debacle at the box-office, His performance in the film got appreciated by both the audience and the critics alike.
 
The project will be an exciting action-thriller with international standards. The makers are leaving no stone unturned in casting and making of the film. The team is in talks with all top-rated actors in the industry for other important roles in the film. The production design of film is getting done on a very lavish scale. It is also reported that major portions of the film will be shot abroad. Mysskin is personally working on scouting locations of the film.
