Nayanthara opens up about Hyderabad encounter: Right act of humanity

Eight days ago, the entire country woke up to the horrific news of the brutal rape of a 26-year-old Hyderabad doctor who got charred to death by four men. The day before yesterday, the nation rejoiced as these four accused were killed in a crossfire between the cops and themselves.
Many celebrities took to Twitter to laud the Telangana police officials for their rightful act. Nayanthara is not a media-friendly actress and she never opens about any ongoing issue. However, the brutal death of Hyderabad's doctor has pushed her to open up about her stance.
In a press statement, she wrote, "Justice is good when served hot. What's been a cinematic phrase so far has become the reality today and the real heroes - Telangana Police have proved it with their action. I would call this "A RIGHT ACT OF HUMANITY". Every woman of this country can mark this date in the calendar as a day of true justice. Speaking about humanity, it's all about respecting, showing love and compassion towards all with equality. More than rejoicing over the justice served, it is a moment to enlighten and educate the children, especially boys at our homes imparting them the message that men become the hero when they make this planet a safe place for women."
