Netflix is unhappy with the output of Baahubali: Before The Beginning web series

After the huge success of the Baahubali film franchise, streaming giant Netflix has decided to make a web series based on it. They decided to adapt the book The Rise of Shivagami. They titled the project, Baahubali: Before The Beginning. The project went on the floors under the direction of Deva Katta and Praveen Sattaru. Arka Media Works came forward to handle the production. The shoot is almost complete but we now hear that Netflix is unhappy with the output.

According to the sources, the team of Netflix is quite dissatisfied with the output of this series. They asked the production house and the team to rework on the project. It seems that they are not happy with the VFX works of the show. Thus, Arka is now working with Praveen Sattaru and Deva Katta on reshaping the show. Baahubali: Before The Beginning will have 13 episodes in total. The first episode got helmed by SS Rajamouli.
Netflix will take the final call on the series after checking the changes. Of late, the streaming giant is facing severe flak for the choice of their shows. Except for Sacred Games, none of the Indian series backed up by Netflix got a good reception from the audiences. Thus, they are planning to take careful steps from now on. Baahubali series may available for streaming in 2021. It features Rahul Bose, Mrunal Thakur, Atul Kulkarni, Smaran Sahu and Sunil Palwal in the lead roles.
