Never before insult to a top director

Varmaa, the Tamil remake of 'Arjun Reddy' faced a worse fate as the production house E4 Entertainments announced that it will shoot a new version. Bala Palaniswamy, an award-winning director who sculpted the movies like Seshu(1999), Pithamagan (2003) and recently Jyothika's Nachiyaar announced that he is no more a part of the project and it is of his accord.
The creative clashes between the production house and the director regarding the final cut gave bitter news to all the Chiyaan Vikram's fans as it was meant to be the launchpad for Dhruv, son of the former. In a press conference recently, the filmmaker Bala said that “In order to safeguard the creative freedom, it was my own decision to relieve myself from this project. Please find the agreement initiated by me with the producer on January 22, 2019, along with this. Considering Dhruv Vikram’s future, I would like to end this here.”
On the other hand, the production house made a release a statement saying “We are all ready to start afresh and shoot a new Tamil version of 'Arjun Reddy' with the same main lead Dhruv by staying true to the soul and intention of the original. Details about the new cast and crew including the director will be made shortly.”
